The Gnutella Web Cache is an important part of the Gnutella connectivity process, It's use is to provide an initial entry point into the Gnutella and G2 Network.

Introducing Bazooka, a GWC for the Gnutella2 Network (G2). A lightweight and configurable cache script which handle GWC2 commands required by Gnutella2 P2P Clients such as Shareaza (GetShareaza.com).

0.3.6b: Recently fixed a couple of bugs and cleaned some areas up. If you have installed 0.3.5b you can download the standalone bazooka.php file to install over it. Delete the old installer / tar.gz file / bazooka.dat / rejecturl.dat.

Installation Notes: If you are installing 0.3.6b and have another version installed, please DELETE the older version and all it's data files before installing.



Bazooka follows GWC2 standards located here.

Currently, PHP is the only platform that Bazooka supports at this time (currently tested with PHP 4.4.x).


Get your Cache UP and RUNNING for Gnutella2. Submit your cache to get it circulated with existing caches and clients.

Your cache will be submitted to http://cache2.bazookanetworks.com/

Note: Please make sure your Web Cache is working correctly before submitting your URL into the wild.
